I don't understand the logic behind NBC's decision to remove all of the SNL clips from file sharing site YouTube.com. Yes, it's copyright infringement, but it's also a form of viral marketing that NBC should be using to its advantage. SNL has sucked for so long, and most people I know haven't watched it since the Dana Carvey years. Why would you stop a movement that is finally creating interest and word of mouth?? The most frustrating thing is that NBC has taken these clips off the web and posted a small fraction of them on their own website- however, the player that they use to run the video is mind-numbingly slow, and only succeeds in forcing you to leave the site. WAKE UP, NBC.
