matt, you're glib

Thursday night never felt so good. No class to prepare for tomorrow. Woo hoo!

But enough about that- there's something much more compelling on the web today. Thanks to the kind people over at Defamer and Gawker, I have the following items to share with you.

The first item is HILARIOUS. If you have a gun to your head and can only visit one website this month, make it this one:

The people over at ran some photoshop contest where you had to put celebrities on a poster for the next California gubernatorial race. Yes, there is Christopher Walken. And yes, there is Tom Cruise. Big payoff.

The second one (warning: nudity/ sex) is just plain bizarre. Two people were just going at it on some random sidewalk mattress in NYC:

Now, I know what you are thinking (especially because they raise this point in the article)- who is more pervy, the people in the act or the people photographing it?

Let me be the first to say that it is NOT the people photographing it, and let me tell you a little story. A few years ago, my friend Lisa and I were walking down our street, which had a bunch of basement level apartments. Since the windows of these apartments were only a few inches off the ground, and were about 3 feet high, you could easily see right inside. There was a huge naked dude watching tv in his recliner (very reminiscent of Ugly Naked Guy on Friends). What does any normal person do? They run back to their apartment, grab a camera, snap a picture and take off running...
